Main protection principle
When a bullet hits the plate, it deforms, decelerates, or breaks apart. At the same time a powerful impact impulse is generated and transmitted to the body.
The soft ballistic panel behind the plate cushions the shock wave and captures fragments — reducing the risk of blunt trauma and increasing the chances of survival.
