The OTAMAN Gen4 V1+ body armor is a vest with an increased protection area covering the entire body. The weight of the vest is 7.4 kg. The relatively high weight is due to the expanded Class 2 ballistic protection area according to DSTU standards.
Protection class of the vest in the basic V1+ configuration is Class 6 according to DSTU. This protection class provides defense against fragments, ricochets, and automatic weapon fire.
The set includes an enlarged plate carrier, front, back, and side protection, and 4 hard pouches for magazines, as well as ceramic Class 6 armor plates.
The vest can also be upgraded with larger Class 6 plates measuring 27×35 cm (XL), since the standard configuration includes 25×30 cm plates.
This vest is suitable for both large men and slimmer individuals.
How to choose your size:
Size S/M — suitable for people up to 175 cm tall, with a chest circumference of 50–170 cm.
Size L/XL — suitable for people above 175 cm tall, with a chest circumference of 60–180 cm.
Don’t worry — the vest can be easily adjusted to fit any body size.

The plate carrier material CORDURA 1000 — a flame-resistant and ultra-durable fabric, resistant to abrasion (over 50,000 cycles), non-flammable, invisible to night vision devices, and moisture-resistant.

About the ceramic armor plates:
Protection class: 6 (complies with NIJ IV 0101.06).
Plate material: Ceramic (Al₂O₃ aluminum oxide) + UHMWPE (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene).
Plate size: 30×25 cm.
Plate thickness: 2.4 cm.
Plate weight: 2.8 kg.
Each plate comes with an information label indicating its protection class and has passed laboratory testing.
A stamped copy of the test certificate confirming the protection level is included with each order.
About the ballistic protection:
Material: UHMWPE (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene) and 8 mm shock-absorbing liner to reduce impact force.
Protection class: 2 (DSTU 8782:2018).
The ballistic protection has passed laboratory testing (a stamped copy of the certificate confirming the protection level is included with the order).
