Body Armor OTAMAN Gen4 V5 — is a model with an increased total body protection area. Its weight is 9.2 kg, which is due to the use of an expanded Class 1 ballistic protection area according to DSTU standards. In the V5 basic configuration, the vest provides Class 6 protection (DSTU), which guarantees resistance against fragments, ricochets, and automatic fire.

This model gained recognition thanks to its large protection area, which became crucial with the advancement of modern weaponry.

The IOTV system introduced an innovative quick-release mechanism, allowing the soldier to drop the armor within seconds in critical situations — this feature is fully implemented in the OTAMAN V5.
