The lightweight OTAMAN Gen4 V5 body armor is a modern tactical system with an increased protection area for the entire body. Its design is created for maximum comfort and safety in field conditions, taking into account all user needs.

The protection level of the OTAMAN body armor in the V5 version corresponds to Class 1 according to DSTU. This level provides protection against fragments, ricochets, and small-caliber firearms.

The basic configuration consists of an enlarged plate carrier, abdomen and chest protection, back, side, neck, shoulder, and groin protection, as well as 4 hard magazine pouches.

The body armor can also be additionally equipped with Class 6 plates sized 25×30 cm or 27×35 cm.

The OTAMAN body armor is suitable for both large men and slim individuals.

How to choose the right size:

Size S/M – suitable for people up to 175 cm tall, with a chest circumference of 50–170 cm.
Size L/XL – suitable for people over 175 cm tall, with a chest circumference of 60–180 cm.

History:

The OTAMAN plate carrier was developed based on the legendary IOTV (Improved Outer Tactical Vest) model used by the U.S. Army in Afghanistan, Syria, and Iraq. Thanks to its large protection area and functionality, this system became a standard of tactical equipment. OTAMAN retained all the advantages of the original design, providing a modern approach to safety and comfort.
