Lightweight Body Armor OTAMAN Gen4 V5+ — this is a modern tactical system with an increased protection area for the whole body. Its design is created for maximum comfort and safety in combat conditions, taking into account all the user’s needs.

The protection class of the body armor in the V5+ version corresponds to Class 2 according to DSTU. This level of protection provides defense against fragments, ricochets, and small-caliber firearms.

The basic configuration consists of an enlarged plate carrier, protection for the abdomen and chest, back, sides, neck, shoulders, groin, and 4 hard pouches for magazines.

The body armor can be additionally equipped with Class 6 plates in sizes 25×30 cm or 27×35 cm.

The OTAMAN body armor is suitable both for large men and for slim users.

How to choose the size:

Size S/M – suitable for people with height up to 175 cm, chest circumference from 50 to 170 cm.
Size L/XL – suitable for people taller than 175 cm, with chest circumference from 60 to 180 cm.

History:
The OTAMAN plate carrier was developed based on the legendary IOTV (Improved Outer Tactical Vest) model, used by the U.S. Army in Afghanistan, Syria, and Iraq.
