The OTAMAN Gen4 V1 body armor is designed with an increased protection area for the entire body. The vest is lightweight — only 3.2 kg.
The low weight is achieved thanks to the use of UHMWPE (ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene), which serves as the base material for the ballistic protection panels.

The protection level of the vest in its basic V1 configuration is Class 1 according to DSTU. This protection level shields you from fragments, ricochets, and pistol shots.

The basic configuration includes an enlarged plate carrier, abdominal and chest protection, back and side panels, and four hard pouches for magazines.

The vest can be additionally equipped with Class 6 plates sized 25×30 cm or 27×35 cm.

The quick-release system is located on the sides and shoulders, allowing for rapid removal in emergencies and providing instant access for medics.
