Combatant Middle Cut is a next-generation Kevlar helmet designed for those who operate where mistakes are too costly. Its construction balances maximum protection and comfort. The Middle Cut shape allows the use of modern headsets and communication gear without reducing ballistic protection.
At its core — DuPont aramid fiber (Kevlar®), providing NIJ IIIA level protection.
The helmet withstands shots from .44 Magnum, .357 SIG, 9×19 FMJ, as well as fragments at speeds up to 680 m/s according to STANAG 2920.
Key advantages:
• Balance of protection and mobility. The Middle Cut shape covers the temporal area, reducing the risk of fragment hits while permitting comfortable use of active headsets.
• BOA Fit adjustment system. Micro-adjustment to the head shape. Perfect fit without pressure or play even during extended tasks.
• Comfort that reduces fatigue. Ten memory-foam pads (PGD-10) dampen shock waves and adapt to the user’s anatomy.
• Enhanced protection. A thickened Kevlar layer in the temporal-occipital area increases resistance to fragments and blast effects.
• Environmental resistance. Polyrea coating protects against UV, moisture, oils, and scratches. The helmet does not deform even at temperatures from −40°C to +70°C.
