The OTAMAN Gen4 V4+ plate carrier is a modern tactical system with an increased full-body protection area. Its design is created for maximum comfort and safety in field conditions, taking into account all user needs.
Plate carrier features:
Protection class: 2 (according to DSTU) – Provides protection against fragments, ricochets, and small-caliber rounds.
Configuration: Includes protective elements for the sides, neck, groin, and coccyx, as well as 4 rigid magazine pouches.
Durable materials: The plate carrier is made of CORDURA 1000, which has a high level of wear resistance (over 50,000 cycles), is flame-resistant, water-repellent, and invisible in night vision devices.
Quick release: The quick-release system on the sides and shoulders allows the plate carrier to be instantly removed in emergency situations.
Sizes and adjustment:
S/M: For height up to 175 cm and chest circumference from 50 to 170 cm.
L/XL: For height from 175 cm and chest circumference from 60 to 180 cm.

Development history:
The OTAMAN plate carrier was developed based on the legendary IOTV (Improved Outer Tactical Vest) model used by the U.S. Army in Afghanistan, Syria, and Iraq. Thanks to its large protection area and high functionality, this system became a benchmark for tactical gear. OTAMAN retains all the advantages of the original design while introducing a modern approach to safety and comfort.
About ballistic protection:
Material: Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) and 8 mm damping layer to reduce impact force.
Protection class: 2 (DSTU 8782:2018).
Ballistic protection has passed laboratory testing (a certified copy with an official stamp confirming compliance with the protection class is included with the order).
